COROLLA: Corolla was the first vehicle to be developed to achieve high scale of production in Japan. The Corolla name is of English origin and means: CROWN OF THE FLOWER. In this way the customer is "presented" to buy a Corolla. This was the objective of the first chief engineer in 1966, have named the Corolla with this name.
